Safe: Glass is a safe material and much more robust than you might think. It's an ideal material for designing night lights because, unlike porcelain, glass doesn't get hot for little ones to touch. In addition, glass won't melt, unlike plastic night lights. Finally, glass is an eco-friendly and durable material. The night light will still look beautiful and retain its colors and details even in 50 years!
Practical: Night lights are very practical for reassuring a child who is afraid of the dark, or for illuminating a parent who has to get up at night to feed, change a diaper, or give medication. They can be placed in the hallway, in the bathroom, and even in the kitchen!
Bulb and mechanism: The night light's glow is strong enough to lightly illuminate the entire room. For reference, you could read a small book if you sat next to the night light.
The bulb supplied is a 5 watt bulb, be careful not to use a bulb larger than 7 watts.
The glass plate measures approximately 9.5 cm x 7 cm. The mechanism is suitable for North American outlets (Canada and the United States).
