How to choose the right TOG?
The TOG indicates the warmth level of a sleeping bag. The higher the TOG, the warmer the sleeping bag. The lower the TOG, the lighter and more breathable it is.
For a room between 16 and 18°C, a 2.5 TOG sleeping bag is generally recommended. Between 18 and 20°C, a 2.0 TOG is ideal. Between 20 and 22°C, a 1.0 TOG is very suitable. Between 22 and 24°C, a TOG between 0.5 and 1.0 is preferred. And for a room at 24°C and above, a 0.5 TOG is better.
Also remember to consider the season, the clothes worn under the sleeping bag, and the fact that some babies get warmer or colder than others. The most important thing is always to ensure that the baby does not overheat.
